Disney Confirms New Rides at Epcot

Disney has confirmed new rides at Epcot, in the most significant investment at the Park in many years.

Ratatouille EpcotIn a widely expected announcement, Disney confirmed that a clone of the Ratatouille attraction at Walt Disney Studios Paris will make its way into the France Pavilion in the World Showcase. The trackless ride system will be a first for Walt Disney World, and continues the trend of the addition of Pixar characters to the Park.

The second major announcement confirmed that a Guardians of the Galaxy attraction will replace Ellen’s Energy Adventure in Future World. Previously the Universe of Energy, the Ellen ride has remained unchanged for many years. Ellen’s Energy Adventure will close on August 13th, 2017.

Disney stated that there will also be new, as yet unannounced additions to the Park going forward. Rumours continue to swirl over an ‘Inside Out’ overlay for the imagination pavilion, as well as new countries for the World Showcase. Stay with Theme Park Investigator for all of the latest news.
