More news from the D23 2017 Expo as Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek announced new experiences headed to Disney California Adventure.

The long-rumoured Marvel Super Hero Land will be built at the Park, and Spiderman and The Avengers will join the characters from Guardians of the Galaxy as the Park expands its Marvel presence. The new attractions (which Disney has withheld the details of) are expected to take over the majority of the Hollywood and Flik’s Fun Fair sections of the Park.

Pixar will also be getting a permanent home at the Park as Paradise Pier becomes Pixar Pier. Disney confirmed that characters from Inside Out, The Incredibles and others will join the current Toy Story lineup in the area. The new area will launch in 2018 as part of the limited-time Pixar Fest across the Disneyland Resort.

Another widely expected announcement was the move of the Paint the Night Parade from Disneyland to Disney California Adventure. Expect that parade to launch later this year.
