News: Cypress Gardens to Reopen at Legoland Florida

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that parts of the old Cypress Gardens to reopen at Legoland Florida. The Park replaced Cypress Gardens when it opened its gates in 2011.

Cypress Gardens to Reopen

The Park will reopen the Florida shaped pool, made famous by Esther Williams in the 1953 movie, ‘Easy to Love’, as well as the Oriental Gardens. Parts of Cypress Gardens are already open to the public, including the former Park’s famous Banyan Tree.

Legoland will host a formal ribbon cutting ceremony this Wednesday, March 5th, and guests will be able to access the Pool and Oriental Gardens from Thursday 6th. The 30-acre gardens or under consideration to be put on the National Register of Historic Places.
