Today we bring you a Frontierland construction update from Disneyland Paris. Although, we use the word construction loosely, as not much was going on, despite a number of areas being closed off. Check out our photo update below:

Mark Twain Restoration Disneyland Paris

What is this new building on the Rivers of the Far West?

Some authentic Western boats…

Mark Twain Restoration Disneyland Paris

Ah! It’s not a building at all. It’s a tarp. Covering the Mark Twain, which is in horrendous condition.

Either the tarp is covering up feverish restoration work on the Mark Twain, or it’s up to hide the horrific condition of the boat. We can guess which one is the truth…

Big Thunder has certainly seen better days…

Pocahontas Indian Village

Pocohantas Indian Village.

The Mark Twain tarp can be seen from many areas around the Park.

We think Pocohantas Indian Village was closed due to the weather, as it actually looked in pretty good condition. However, it was open this time last year.

River Rogue Keel Boats

The River Rogue Keel Boats are still closed…

Yep, still closed…

It’s such a shame, as the boats added some much needed kinetic energy to the Rivers of the Far West.

Some construction trolleys, although they look remarkably like track.

Were these once used as a guide track for the boat station? Does anybody know?

The Cottonwood Creek ranch was closed off as well.

Not much to see in this area of the Park…

Chaparral Theatre Disneyland Paris

The Chaparral Theatre, which is currently undergoing a transformation for the Frozen Summer Fun celebration.

Not sure how Frozen will fit in with Frontierland, but we’ll see!

Much of Frontierland was closed off, which is a shame. But hopefully as Summer approaches more of this area will open up. What do you think of the state of Frontierland? Let us know in the comments!
