We just returned from a great four-day visit to Disneyland Paris, and managed to get an awesome photo update of the ongoing work in Adventureland, specifically at the Indiana Jones et le Temple du Peril roller coaster. The attraction is down until May 28th for a major refurbishment, with alterations to the track and Temple structure, in order to strengthen the ride with more durable materials. There is also a rumour at the moment that the coaster will be changed slightly, in order to accommodate future expansion at the Park, but this remains unconfirmed.
Alas, enjoy our Indiana Jones et le Temple du Peril construction update below. And don’t forget to check out our Ratatouille construction update from the Walt Disney Studios Paris too!
We’re looking forward to the ride reopening in May, and were pretty gutted that we didn’t get to ride it this time around. Still, improvements to the rides, especially older ones, can only be a good thing! The previously wooden based Temple structure is set to be replaced with actual stone, and the popular attraction will surely to continue to draw guests when it reopens ahead of the busy Summer season. And there you have it, a nice little update on the progress of construction over at Indiana Jones et le Temple du Peril. Are you looking forward to the return of this ride? Let us know in the comments!
