Welcome to Theme Park Investigator’s Disneyland Paris Trip Report Part Five, the final installment in the series. Here we check out Discoveryland. Be sure to look out for our Walt Disney Studios Paris update, and you can check out parts one, two, three and four as well!
Videopolis is certainly a striking building from the outside.
Space Mountain Mission 2 is easily one of the best rides at Disneyland Paris.
Disneyland Paris’ version of Autopia isn’t visually impressive.
Autopia setting up for the day.
The Nautilus itself is pretty awesome.
Whilst not an overwhelmingly exciting attraction, there are some beautiful details within Les Mysteres du Nautilus.
What Tomorrowland-esque area would be complete without some kind of Orbitron?
The theatre inside Videopolis is HUGE, and the Cafe Hyperion is not a bad dining venue if you want something quickly.
Whilst this water feature was beautiful, the previous day it was drained, for all to see. Disappointing.
Discoveryland is certainly a beautiful part of the Park.
The only original Star Tours left in the World! Needs some TLC inside, but the X-Wing is pretty cool!
The obligatory gift shop :p.
Captain EO was under rehab when we went. No great loss really. This, ‘attraction’ has to be bound for replacement soon.
Buzz Lightyear’s Pizza Planet, one of the Park’s buffet restaurants. Closed for most of our visit.
Discoveryland is full of little details like this topiary of the Star Command logo.
These to arches were originally to have housed tunnels into the planned Discovery Mountain. They now house radio facilities.
And that does it for our Disneyland Paris Trip Report! Again, be sure to check out parts one, two, three and four! And don’t forget you can check us out on Facebook and Twitter too.
