Disney has confirmed that two new Disney Cruise Ships will set sail in the next decade. The two ships, which are yet to be named, will come in at 135,000 gross tons, and will be larger than Disney’s last ship, the Disney Fantasy. Due for arrival in 2021 and 2023, the ships will hold around 1,250 State rooms.

Disney CEO Bob Iger said:

‘We pride ourselves on the unforgettable vacation experiences we deliver to our guests each and every day, and the expansion of our Disney fleet will allow us to create even more magical memories for families at sea and in incredible cruise destinations around the world’.

Disney has run its own Cruise Line since 1998, and owns its own getaway Island, Castaway Cay.

No news yet on what kinds of attractions and technologies we will see aboard the ships, but stay with Theme Park Investigator for the latest news.
